Intelligent Technology Exhibition in Vietnam 2023-OCTF and Business Association of China in Vietnam's Guangdong Enterprise Confederation Establish Strategic Partnership

On April 9th, the Business Association of China in Vietnam’s Guangdong Enterprise Confederation announced its strategic partnership with the Intelligent Technology Exhibition in Vietnam 2023-OCTF. Organized by Guangdong Guangzhou International Exhibition Co., Ltd., the exhibition will be held at the SECC Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City from September 21-23, 2023.

Vietnam’s rapidly growing economy, especially in digital technology and e-commerce, makes it an ideal location for this exhibition. With the country experiencing the fastest growth in Southeast Asia, it boasts a young population structure, with over 55% under the age of 35, and a rising middle class that is demanding smart home products, mobile electronics, and household goods. The exhibition will showcase four key zones, including smart home appliances, mobile phones and peripherals, computer products and peripherals, and smart health and personal care.

The Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province has identified the exhibition as a crucial platform for Guangdong enterprises to enter the Vietnamese market at a lower cost. The strategic partnership with the Business Association of China in Vietnam’s Guangdong Enterprise Confederation will enable both parties to leverage their resource advantages in China and Vietnam to jointly plan and organize the exhibition, making it highly distinctive, efficient, and practical for businesses in Guangdong and Vietnam.

The Business Association of China in Vietnam’s Guangdong Enterprise Confederation, which has been serving Guangdong enterprises in “bringing in” and “going out,” will further promote economic and trade exchanges between Guangdong and Vietnam. In March 2023, more than 60 enterprise (association) representatives from Foshan formed an economic and trade delegation with Vietnamese enterprise representatives for on-site cooperation and matchmaking in the fields of home appliances, furniture, machinery and equipment, pharmaceuticals, and others. The trade investment signing amount reached 1.3 billion yuan.
